Once Upon a Midnight Scroll

The debut poetry collection from viral TikTok poet Heidi Becker offers whip-smart, humorous verse that is sure to lead Gen Z from doomscrolling and ‘brain rot’ to an anti-capitalist awakening.

Turning brain-rot language and social-media speak against itself, Once Upon a Midnight Scroll memorializes the viral words of writer and creator Heidi Becker-an irreverent antidote to the over-stimulation of modern life, served in raw truths and playful cynicism you can take all at once or in small doses.

These deeply honest poems explore self-worth, identity, love, and connection with humor, empathy, and a wicked wit, capturing the anxieties of today’s youth through the all-too-familiar haze of a midnight scroll.

Open it up and ask the question of a generation: ‘Is this play about us?’
