The Gorgon’s Tarot

A round, black-and-white Tarot deck that challenges conventionunapologetically feminine, fiercely imaginative, and unlike anything else on your shelf.

The Gorgons Tarot by Dolores Fitchie is a 79-card circular deck designed as a visual tool for reflection, not prediction. Created over the course of a decade, it offers a stark, symbolic alternative to conventional Tarot, blending traditional archetypes with dry wit, feminist spirit, and animal companions that act as familiars, witnesses, and occasional bodyguards.

The deck features bold black-and-white illustrations with two restrained splashes of color. At its center is The Blind Gorgonan unnumbered card that can function as a wildcard, significator, or atmosphere-setter.

Some cards align with tradition; others stray. The round shape introduces a new kind of reading: orientation and tilt suggest motion, hesitation, or inversionadding dimension where standard decks offer polarity.

79 round cards, including The Blind Gorgon wildcard
5 5/8 circular cards with black-and-white artwork and minimal color

This is Tarot stripped of illusion. Visual. Unruly. Personal. A tool for inquiryfor those who make up their own minds.
